The Amygdaloids, the other band I play in got a write up in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences recently.  I initially misread the line that i’m mentioned in as “Colin Dempsey, although not a scientist, can still play bass”. I’ve joked about getting that on a t-shirt, I may just yet.
