I was asked to join New York Neuroscience rock band The Amygdaloids as their bass player recently. I had been telling some friends that I really missed playing the bass so when the opportunity arose I took it. We had our first gig last night and it went really well. Unlike Supersmall, it’s nice to be able to just turn up, plug in my instrument and play. No songwriting, scheduling gigs or being the front man-stress. I couldn’t ask for a better gig. Also, it’s fun.
