My mate Chris invited Marisa and I to attend his sister’s (the talented Natalie Menna) one act play called “I-Pod” at Theater Row yesterday. It won Best Solo Show at The Network One Act Festival but I knew it would be great judging by her previous work, and it was. Afterwards we grabbed dinner with two writer friends of Chris. It was inspiring and refreshing to spend my Sunday with the people that I did. On the way home we checked out a new local bookstore in Astoria, it was a great find indeed with plenty of interesting events on their calender. Not a bad way to spend your Sunday.
